Comprehensive Eye Exam
We evaluate your ocular health through thorough examination, and determine if you need eyeglasses or contact lenses. The eye exams we conduct test for refractive errors and most importantly diagnosis and treatment of any existing eye disease that is present. A multitude of these eye diseases include cataract, glaucoma, and anterior and posterior segment diseases.

A cataract is a clouding of the eye's lens. This condition affects millions of individuals. It is usually a slow process and causes a gradual reduction in vision. As it limits your ability to see, it causes glare and double vision and causes difficulty driving at night. Correction with a variety of intraocular lenses will restore your vision to its pre-cataract state. Glaucoma
Glaucoma, in most cases, is an eye disease that is caused by increased eye pressure and/or poor circulation. These problems can result in damage to the optic nerves causing gradual and complete loss of vision if left untreated. Glaucoma can be treated with medication, including drops and tablets, laser treatment and surgery. Laser treatments are performed in all our offices using various types of lasers which avoid the need of hospital visits.
Treatments include administration of the newest intraocular medication for macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. Laser surgery for retinal tears, vessel occlusions and diabetic retinopathy are performed in all offices. Dr. DeVenuto also specializes in treating retinal disease, including macular degenerative diseases, diabetic retinopathy and vessel occlusion. He completed his Retinal Fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
